Hungry at lunchtime and want to eat in the park? No worries as the local mini supermarket has beautiful fresh salads all packed up and presented in eye catching plastic packaging.
Need to do some food shopping on the way home but don’t have any bags on me? No problem I’m 100% sure the shop will have a plastic bag or two and at only 5p each hardly worth worrying about.
In the past people didn’t have this luxury of convenience and would carry a bag with them with them to work containing useful items such as a container with their lunch in, a flask of tea, and some extra bags to bring food home from the grocery or local farm.
But things have progressed you say, we live in modern times. Well, unfortunately these modern times have also come with the modern day problem of all this convenience…
